💦 While water is very sparse in the Karoo, one of the largest dams in South Africa can be found in the Tankwa Karoo NP. However, this water has a very high sulphur content and cannot be drunk without being seriously filtered. 🤩 Surprisingly, the harsh environment of the Tankwa Karoo national park is teeming with wildlife! ❓Many of you asked us if it was really that easy to set up camp, so we decided to show you what it takes from arrival to being ready for sundowners! ⚠️ The @tracks4africa map does not lie: 4x4 only track! 🤩 Some places are not easy to reach, and sometimes it’s more about the journey than the destination… Yet, some magical sights have both! 🧭 This overlanding adventure is new for us, and we tackled it as we are preparing a big overlanding expedition in Namibia in a few months time…
