Photo of the day: Siam square at night, Bangkok, Thailand

Contrasting with the narrow alleyways of Chinatown, the two-time-three-lane boulevards of Siam Square are as busy with cars, mopeds, buses, taxis and tuk-tuks always passing by. Above it all, the ultra-modern MTB, Bangkok’s metro connects all the neighbourhoods of the widespread capital. Behind the ultra modern and luxurious malls of this shopping Mecca, the century-old canals provide another mean of transportation thanks to long-tail boats navigating back to the Chao Praya river, the main waterway with constant boat traffic for commuters to heavily loaded cargo boats.
