From the top of the Tour des Templiers (the Knights Templar tower, 12th century), the Templars used to overlook the medieval city of Hyères and their vast agricultural lands they were harvesting to supply crusaders.
Today, this once defensive terrace still offers a panoramic view on the warm rooftops of the medieval part of Hyères and all the way to the sea.
