Photo of the day: A green oasis in Toulon, French Riviera

First a water hole for animals, the fountain of the three dolphins was turned into an ornamental one with water coming out of their mouths in the 18th century. Nature helped making it remarkable thanks to limestone sediments on which plants and trees started to grow. Today, this man-and-nature-made fountain looks like an oasis on square Puget in the heart of Toulon.
