Walking the city centre of Panama’s cosmopolitan capital, we encountered this woodpecker with its very neat and bright red puff.  This Lineated woodpecker, found in forested woodland between Southern Mexico and Northern Bolivia, seemed to not be disturbed by surrounding cars and curious passengers like us.
