The Punta Jesus Maria beach on the western part of the Ometepe Island is located on a peninsula and provides fantastic views on both volcanoes, Concepcion (here in the foreground) and Maderas (in the background). It is the perfect spot to cool off in Lake Nicaragua, a short bus ride from Moyogalpa, the capital of the island where the ferry arrives to and departs from.
