Costa Rica is quite touristy, and beaches are often developed with shops, hotels, bars, restaurants and whatever one needs for some entertainment.
After a bit of research and adventurous driving, we discovered this hidden gem, a stone throw away from the very touristy Manuel Antonio national park. After a short walk, this unspoiled rocky coasline turned into our very own private beach and is just perfect to spend a day swimming, tanning, reading, playing in the waves, birdwatching, etc.
