Beyond the ever present pupusas, El Salvador offers excellent seafood. With its 307 kilometres of coast on the Pacific, restaurants with fantastic sunsets are legion from fancy and trendy to wooden fisherman shacks on the water. Here, we could enjoy the freshest seafood fished in the Gulf of Fonseca, overlooking Salvadoran islands, and the coasts of Honduras and Nicaragua.
