In the 4th quarter of Paris, between the modern Centre Pompidou and the Saint Merri church, 16 remarkable sculptures move around and play with water; the Stravinsky Fountain. This controversial public fountain, created by the non-conformist artist Niki de saint Phalle with Jean Tinguely represents the Rite of Spring, one of Igor Stravinsky’s famous works as a composer. Characters from this ballet can be recognized in the fountain while the sound of water symbolizes the music. Funny contrast with the huge “Chuuuttt!! – Ssshhh!” street art painting in the background.
