Surprisingly, the Glaskogen Nature Reserve seems to be partially taken down by some forest companies owning most of the park. We find ourselves hiking roughly half of the time through clearings and dead trees, looking for the right trails among the tractor tracks. The amount of moose dung spotted is significantly less than in the other parts of Sweden where we hiked. Still, hiking through the Glaskogen Nature Reserve rewarded us with some wildlife spotting: deer, grouses, snipes, cranes, woodpeckers and last but not least, a moose!
